Goldfinch Realty’s Local Holiday Guide for 2025!

Happy holidays, folks! We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. In our noble effort to push everyone into the holiday spirit, we wanted to share with you some of our favorite local events happening this month!

I’m putting them in numbered order, but all these events are equally great and worth checking out!

Our Selection of Holiday Events for 2025:

5. The Maker’s Market at Thompson’s Point

On select Sundays at Thompson’s Point, the Maker’s Market features loads of local artists and vendors. This includes artists, crafters, farmers and more! This is a great spot to find some cool and unusual gifts for friends and family and help local artists too! The market will be open December 7th, 14th and 21st from 10am to 3pm!

4. Sea Festival of Trees

The Sea Festival of Trees is a big tree festival down in Salisbury, MA with loads of trees to check out and try to win! Located at the Blue Ocean Event Center, this is a busy, crowded holiday event, but the atmosphere is great and all proceeds benefit the Salisbury Historic Beach Carousel and Pavilion.

3. Ogunquit Christmas by the Sea

Ogunquit Christmas by the Sea is happening on December 12th through the 14th. Ogunquit is beautiful all year round, so why not come by and see how it looks decked for the holidays. This 3-day event features tree and bridge lightings, live music, craft shows, a parade and fireworks! ‘Tis the season, my friends!

2. Gardens Aglow — Boothbay Botanical Gardens

Currently open and running until January 3rd on Thursdays through Saturday (check their website for special dates and times too). Boothbay’s beautiful Botanical Gardens is a real treat in the summer and worth a visit, but seeing their lovely grounds lit up and transformed into a winter wonderland is pretty cool too! Be sure to come up and enjoy this spectacle. All the reluctant holiday spirits will be transformed, for sure

1. Portsmouth’s Illuminated Holiday Parade

This is always a great time! Enjoy Portsmouth’s quaint and beautiful downtown, patronize all the great, small shops and enjoy the fun parade! This year’s event takes place on Saturday December 6th at 5:30 PM.

Have a great holiday outing that you’re looking forward to? Feel free to share with me on my Facebook page!

Closing out 2025, I wanted to wish everyone a happy, healthy and wonderful holidays and new year! I’m excited and looking forward to what 2026 will bring!
