I’m Melanie, the Broker/Owner at Goldfinch Realty.

I grew up the youngest of seven just north of Boston, and I’ve been in Maine for over ten years. I’ve always loved this state. I don’t consider myself a transplant — just a traveler who’s finally found her home. I’ve been working in real estate for close to 20 years. I started my career on the north shore in Massachusetts before becoming active in Maine in 2016. I currently serve clients in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. My success has been built on strong relationships among friends, family and coworkers who have trusted me with their real estate needs. I grew up very close with my family and developed a strong notion for caring for others. I carry this sensibility into every aspect of my life, including and especially my work.

I live in Southern Maine with my husband, who is a Firefighter for the City of Portland (proud Firefighter wife here!)

We share our home with a 4-year-old French Bulldog named Olive Jean, who became part of our family in May of 2024 and has learned quickly that she is the real boss.

I’m a Mom to an amazing daughter who lives in the North End of Boston. You can often find us visiting her and eating our way through the North End haha!

I balance my work life by making time for the activities I enjoy, including bird watching, yoga, kayaking, hiking, taking road trips, running in some local and fun 5ks, and taking our dog for beach walks. On my quieter days, I enjoy all things Star Wars, crossword puzzles, flower gardening, listening to music (on vinyl when possible!) and the unending quest to find the best pizza.
